Showing key & switching to Camelot notation
A detected key is only useful if you can see it while you play — and if it is labelled in a system your brain reads quickly. Rekordbox gives you both, and unlike Traktor it lets you choose the notation.
Turn on the Key column
Right-click any browser column header and tick Key. Rekordbox adds a colour-coded column showing each analysed track's key. Place it next to BPM so your two harmonic-mixing pillars sit side by side, and sort by it to group compatible tracks together.
Choose Classic or Alphanumeric
In Preferences, set the key display format. Classic shows traditional labels (Am, C, F♯m); Alphanumeric shows Camelot values (8A, 8B). Most harmonic-mixing DJs pick Alphanumeric so compatible moves are obvious at a glance.

The detail that catches everyone out: library vs file

Two practical consequences follow. First, a key Rekordbox detects will show up on a CDJ-3000 when you export to USB, because the value rides along inside the Rekordbox database on the drive — but that same key will not appear if you open the file in Serato or Traktor, because it was never written to the file. Second, when you bring in keys from an outside tool, Rekordbox reads them from the file's metadata tag on import — but its own analysis will overwrite that imported value unless you turn key analysis off first.
